Of Fireflies and Dying Stars

"Why do the fireflies do that?" Tonight the air was humid, but a pleasant breeze was blowing over us. I was stretched out on the swing out back, one foot bare and propped up on the swing's left arm and the other slid into my shoe. You Can Feel the Wind I remember days when we sat quietly on the porch, whiling the day away with cool glasses of juice. There was no need for words during these quiet hours; we communicated to each other without them. I wasn’t sure I knew.  I rested my head on the back of the seat and watched the world go by through the window.  Car rides had a soothing effect on me, especially when I was able to simply sit and watch the world go by on the other side of the glass.  I liked looking too much to be on the left side of the car.
Passengers, to my piece of mind, had the advantage.

I live!

Still busy, but the semester is winding down. That means once I finish the host of papers that I'm supposed to be writing and take finals, I won't be busy for a month. On the bright side, I'm registered for next semester and have all the classes I want.

I have a lot of deviations to rip to shreds. I started...sort of.

Not really. But I'm going to seriously do it tomorrow! So everyone will receive at least two comments from me by the end of the weekend. I almost promise.

If I take the time to comment, then I like it (to some extent)! So if the review is particularly scathing, that's why! All of this unsupported "It's so cute!" "Kawaii!1!!" "K3wl!!1!1!" gets on my nerves.
